The past few weeks my inbox has been flooded with every resource, webinar, and online service to help with the current school closures. Delete, delete, delete….my brain cannot handle all of the emails on top of trying to navigate my new normal for both my home and work life.

I think we can all agree that meeting the needs of ALL students is a top priority (Special Ed, English Learners, Deaf and Hard of Hearing, Students with limited internet availability and/or access, etc).

Kent ISD staff has created a simple to navigate list of resources for districts to utilize. This one landing page categorizes the best resources by area of need. You will find categories such as learning continuity plan, teacher training/support, communication plan, student accommodation/support, family/parent supports, and more.

This landing page includes resources that have been vetted by educational professionals that you know and trust to be the best available options for districts. These resources are meant to be used in conjunction with the School Closure Learning Continuity Readiness Rubric and the School Closure Learning Continuity Planning Checklist.
