Join us for the 3rd annual AssisTechKnow Conference, October 9 & 10, 2014! This exciting 2-day event, hosted by Kent ISD, focuses on Universal Design for Learning (UDL), Educational and Assistive Technology tools and strategies for diverse learners of all ages. This year we are delighted to be partnering with Michigan Integrated Technology Supports (MITS), Michigan Council for Exceptional Children (MCEC), MACUL
and REMC to bring this one of a kind opportunity to West Michigan educators.
A packed schedule will include:
- Over 50 concurrent sessions on topics ranging from early childhood through secondary including technology implementation for the diverse classroom, UDL, iPads, Google applications, web-based tools, reading, writing, math and science supports, low-tech strategies, AAC, physical access tips, and much more!
- Inspiring Keynote kickoff each morning
- Over 15 exhibitors/vendors of assistive and educational technology solutions
- Fabulous door prizes and snacks from community sponsors
The conference has been filled for the past two years, with 250 registered each day, including teachers, itinerant staff, administrators and parents.
